The Art and Soul of Dance! BASSH Santa Barbara returns with two sizzling performances that will light up the Marjorie Luke Theater this fall! Now in its twentieth year, BASSH has become an icon of the performing arts and one of the longest-running dance shows in the beautiful city of Santa Barbara, and this year’s anniversary show will top them all! Since the first performance in 1998, BASSH has served up a delicious mix of dance styles, but this year’s program will be the most diverse, including classical, folk, social, sacred and environmental styles, theatrically choreographed by Santa Barbara’s top-notch local dance professionals. BASSH’s mission is to inspire everyone to participate in the exciting world of dance while promoting Santa Barbara area dance studios, choreographers, teachers, and dancers. Derrick Curtis and his team of talented professionals, Alexandra King, Jatila Van Der Veen and Roxana Bonderson, will bring together Santa Barbara’s best choreographers and dancers to create a program of spectacular dances!
