There are many ways to get to Downtown Santa Barbara (by train, by bus, by a shared car service) so many people can leave their cars at home – or not! If you choose to drive to Santa Barbara, the City of Santa Barbara operates an ever-so-convenient downtown parking system. In addition to providing many 75-minute time-limited on-street parking spaces, the City also offers 3,230 downtown parking lot spaces with the first 75 minutes free and a $3 fee per hour after. So wherever you are going, there’s a convenient and affordable place to park and walk nearby. In fact, it’s easy to park once and enjoy the urban walkability of Downtown Santa Barbara.
