Due to the rapid spread of COVID-19, the established medical supply chain for critical supplies has been pushed beyond capacity, yet demand is rapidly rising. In response to sudden and unprecedented need, local company Nomad has reprioritized their factories and team to provide medical supplies, like PPE masks, to those fighting this pandemic. They generously donated over 2000 face masks to our organization which we have distributed to the downtown business community in order for them to be able to supply masks for both guests and employees. We thank Nomad for this gift and urge you to visit their website and order PPE masks, hand sanitizer, nitrile gloves, thermometers, or whatever else you might need to stay safe during this situation that we are faced with.
We’re so grateful to have the support of our Santa Barbara community and other hospitality businesses during this time of unprecedently adversity. Teaming up with Shaker Mill, The Good Lion, and Test Pilot has enabled us to consolidate operations in a way that allows us to be open for take-out and delivery despite the heavy revenue decrease from impacts of COVID-19. We will continue to listen to feedback from the community to keep our menu fresh and exciting while doing our part to keep the community safe through proper sanitization and social distancing procedures. Thank you to everyone for the support! https://www.cubaneosb.com/
GOOD LION/SHAKER MILL/TEST PILOT
As we all suffer and strive to survive this global pandemic, it's difficult to call any measures we (or any other struggling small restaurants/bar) as a business are taking during this time, a 'success'. What we are doing though, is working incredibly hard to adhere to the best safety/sanitary practices while fighting to ensure our business' survival. The hospitality industry is amongst the most hard hit during this global health crisis, and we all need your support. Many thanks to the State of California and specifically the ABC for allowing us, and other restaurants to offer cocktails to-go. This loosening of the rules has allowed us to take a small sting off the large sting that this crisis has forced upon us. We think that it's glorious that cocktails to-go are a thing now, and appreciate each and every cocktail you, our lovely Santa Barbarans', drink. Stay tuned for our daily rotating cocktail list, and stay classy, stay safe, Santa Barbara. You can order cocktails and cuban food at shakermillsb.com and follow us on social media for the most up to date information @shakermillsb
