Built in 1924, the historic and iconic Granada Theatre’s mission is to serve the community as a vibrant, welcoming venue promoting appreciation for the performing arts and enhancing the quality of life in our community, by presenting the very best performances to the widest possible audience.
The Granada Theatre is proud to serve as the home for the majority of the area’s world-class arts organizations including our eight resident companies, CAMA, Music Academy of the West, Opera Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara Choral Society, Santa Barbara Symphony, State Street Ballet, Theater League, and UCSB Arts & Lectures. Our talented resident companies bring outstanding performances, including internationally famous soloists and orchestras. The Granada Theatre also showcases cinemas finest year round on the impressive 4k digital cinema system .
