Benefiting the Unity Shoppe

The Gift Shoppe offers new and gently used treasures as a true boutique. Antiques, furniture, jewelry, gifts, dolls, clothing, collectibles, household items and toys ~ incredible value and surprising selection.

Several programs are located in this building: Job Smart provides professional clothing for those with an interview or appointment for a job but need appropriate attire to put make their best first impression. Resume help and interview tips are provided, as well. The Senior Resource Center provides specifically ordered items for over 3,000 seniors that are in board & care facilities in Santa Barbara County. Items according to size and color preference are ordered by care givers that know the need. Personalized Gift Boxes for birthdays and Christmas are extremely meaningful for our recipients, plus provide a beneficial expression for our volunteers who assemble the gifts, and knit, sew and crochet hand made items.

The Long Term Disaster Recovery Program is also located here for rapid response for anyone who loses a home or possessions in a disaster such as a fire, mudslide, earthquake, etc.

The Gift Shoppe helps support the Unity Shoppe, a 100 year old non-profit that assists the most vulnerable population in our County. Approximately 19,000 of our low-income, including parents, their children, seniors, the disabled and ill are referred by over 300 social service agencies. At our Family Services Distribution Center at 1401 Chapala Street, Unity has a Free Food Store, household goods department, school clothing and supplies and a year-round gift center.
