The Community Environmental Council (CEC) advances local, equitable solutions to the climate crisis — including clean energy and transportation, climate-smart agriculture, waste reduction, and community resilience. CEC also leads community-building programs such as the Climate Stewards and Youth Climate Workshops, which equip multi-generational activists to lead climate action, and operates the Environmental Hub as a center for public engagement and collaboration.
Located in the heart of Santa Barbara’s ARTS District, The Hub offers flexible space for gatherings of all kinds, including meetings, workshops, conferences, receptions, film screenings and celebrations. CEC is led by CEO Sigrid Wright, named 2022 Congressional Woman of the Year.
