Zen and the Art of Figure Drawing is about our state of mind when approaching a drawing and quick sketch drawing.
This workshop will explore our state of mind when approaching a quick sketch drawing of a live, nude model, and the understanding that drawing is not about a finished sketch, but the process of creating something of beauty from nothing.
Rich will lecture, demonstrate, and will work with you one-on-one.
All levels of experience are welcome.
Participants should bring art supplies. Ideal supplies include 18x24 inch drawing paper, drawing utensils like charcoal or pencils, and a drawing board. Participants without these materials may bring similar drawing paper, utensils, and surface.
