Join Chris Ragland, founder and executive director of Sea League, for The Blue Blind Spot: The Most Important Infrastructure Project That No One Is Funding. Ragland will explore why meaningful access to the ocean should be viewed as essential public infrastructure and how direct connection to the sea can inspire stewardship, strengthen coastal resilience, support workforce development, and help shape the future of the blue economy. Focusing on the Santa Barbara Channel, the talk will examine what becomes possible when more people have the opportunity to experience, understand, and care for the marine environment that surrounds them.
