We spend our days interacting with others, but how much do we truly hear? Can we listen without agenda to ourselves, to another, to the body that speaks before our words do?

This workshop explores the art of listening as a practice, something you can refine with attention and intention. So much of how we listen is shaped by the urge to fix, solve, or steer. Here the invitation is to meet another without rushing to respond — and we do that best once we've done the work of meeting ourselves first.

Through a blend of verbal practice, myosomatic and assisted stretching, and Authentic Movement, we'll work with three kinds of listening:

Listening to yourself: through movement practices and dialogue
Listening to others: receiving what is said without filtering it through your own assumptions
Listening with the body: opening attention through assisted movement and touch
