Masq(p)arade!—Santa Barbara’s original and only performance progressive—returns for its sixth spectacular year on Friday, October 2, 2026, lighting up downtown with music, movement, and masked magic from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
This whimsical, family-friendly celebration transforms State Street into a roving stage. The evening features a dynamic lineup of regional talent delivering a fast-paced series of 15-minute performances at the Pianos on State, with each act uniquely staged at a different painted piano along the central corridor.
Expect the unexpected and plenty of masked merriment as you wander from one piano to the next, following this roving variety show through the ARTS District as a community. Admission is FREE!
