Formed on the Northern California coast in 2005, LSD and the Search for God quickly became a cult favorite in the underground psychedelic scene, mesmerizing audiences with hypnotic live shows built on swirling guitars, drones, fuzzed-out pop melodies, and dreamy harmonies. Early comparisons to My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Spacemen 3, and Sonic Youth fueled a must-see reputation, and their self-titled debut EP (2007) sold out before release, earning lasting acclaim as a shoegaze essential.
