Earth as Living Element: An Artist Lecture with Jackie Amézquita

As part of the programming for "Accretion: Works by Latin American Women", exhibiting artist Jackie Amézquita will join us to discuss her distinctive artistic practice.

The artist’s works often examine the physical, political, and emotional implications of migration, and, on display in "Accretion", the piece Oro Negro illustrates that the migrant experience does not end once the border is crossed but persists in the experience of existing amidst discriminatory planning and zoning politics.
