Blessing of the Bicycles & Blessings Ride
Join us for the Blessing of the Bicycles, inspired by a 1800s Manhattan tradition! This gathering unites cyclists of all backgrounds for spiritual blessings led by local faith leaders. Celebrate the joy of cycling, promote safety, and honor our cycling friends while building community. The first 100 riders will receive a flower to tie onto their bikes. Get your bike blessed and join our short Blessings Ride to celebrate new local bike infrastructure. We’ll conclude at Move Santa Barbara County’s Bici Centro for the CycleMAYnia kick-off party. Blessing of the Bicycles - Noon to 12:30 pm / Blessings Ride leaves at 1pm and will end at Move Santa Barbara County's Bici Centro at their CycleMAYnia Kick-off Mixer for some food and DJ.
Location
This is located around 917 State Street at the lower end of the downtown Farmer's Market. It will be near the Fiesta Five Theatres.
