The festival opens on Friday, July 31, with a free screening of Bailaora – Mis Pies Son Mi Voz at Center Stage Theater. Presented as part of the Flamenco Arts Festival's Flamenco on Film Series, the Latin GRAMMY nominated documentary follows the artistic journey of internationally acclaimed flamenco dancer and choreographer Siudy Garrido. Directed by Pablo Croce, the film offers an inspiring introduction to Garrido's life and career, providing audiences with a deeper appreciation of the artist they will experience live one week later at the Lobero Theatre.
