Details
domecíl will welcome Santa Barbara author, safari specialist, and conservationist Lori Robinson for a conversation about wildlife, conservation, and finding hope in the people working to protect the natural world. Robinson is the author of Saving Wild: Inspiration From 50 Leading Conservationists, a collection of stories and perspectives from
some of the world’s leading advocates for wildlife and wild places. For the book, Robinson asked fifty conservationists a simple but meaningful question: How do you stay inspired in the face of the challenges facing our planet? The resulting stories offer a hopeful look at the people dedicating their lives to protecting endangered species, threatened landscapes, and the future of our wild places. The book features a foreword by renowned primatologist and conservationist Jane Goodall. The conversation will explore what it means to form a deeper relationship with the natural world and how individual stories of perseverance can inspire meaningful action.
Robinson’s work is grounded in a belief that changing the way we understand and connect with animals can help foster greater care for the places and species we share the planet with.
