This transformative mixed-use project introduces 44 market-rate "micro-units" designed to provide attainable downtown housing without the need for government subsidies. To achieve feasibility in a challenging development environment, the project eliminates onsite parking and incorporates significant commercial space, allowing residents to walk to nearby amenities or rent parking in adjacent lots. The five-story residential building includes four designated affordable units—two for Very Low Income and two for Moderate Income households. As part of the broader development, REthink has also rehabilitated the historic Telephone Building, successfully listing it on the Federal Register of Historic Places while modernizing its structural and mechanical systems. A new 75,000-square-foot self-storage facility will be constructed between the historic building and the new residential units.
