The Notre Dame Glee Club In Concert
The University of Notre Dame Men’s Glee Club, under the direction of Daniel Stowe, will appear at beautiful Trinity Episcopal Church, 1500 State Street, Santa Barbara, on Saturday, January 5 at 7:30 PM as part of their 2019 California Tour. The concert is free and open to the public; an offering will be taken. The Glee Club’s program, titled “Give Us Music,” will include Renaissance motets of Victoria, lieder by Felix Mendelssohn, contemporary poetic settings, and newly-commissioned works along with folk songs, spirituals, vocal jazz arrangements, and songs of Notre Dame.
