Santa Barbara Blues Society Presents Mike Zito Live in Concert
NATIONALLY RENOWNED BLUES ARTIST MAKES SANTA BARBARA DEBUT On Thursday, May 28, 2026, the Santa Barbara Blues Society is proud to present award-winning guitarist, singer, songwriter, producer, and bandleader Mike Zito in his first ever Santa Barbara appearance. A native of St. Louis, Zito began playing guitar at age five. While working in a local record and musical instrument store, he met St. Louis resident and rock-and-roll pioneer Chuck Berry and his pianist Johnnie Johnson, and Zito became enamored with blues and rock. Zito tours extensively internationally. He has released over twenty albums, and has been nominated for fourteen Blues Music Awards. He has won six BMAs, for Album, Artist, and Song of the Year. Doors will open at 7:00 PM; advance ticket purchasers will be allowed to enter at 6:45 PM. Zito and his band will play two sets, starting at 7:30 PM. The venue has an outdoor patio and a large, spring-loaded dance floor; beverages will be available.
