In West London, 18-year-old girls Jess (Parminder Nagra) and Jules (Keira Knightley) dream of playing professional soccer like their idol David Beckham. But Jess' Sikh parents have more conventional plans – a law degree and marriage – while Jules' mother wishes for a daughter more interested in boys than soccer.
