Santa Barbara Surf Film Festival
The 4th Annual Santa Barbara Surf Film Festival is the ultimate celebration of surf culture and Santa Barbara's rich surf history! The festival started in 2019 with the idea to combine the love of cinema, ocean conservation and community. This year's two day festival on June 7-8 includes film screenings at the historic Lobero Theatre, Q&A's with filmmakers and surfing heroes, and an exclusive Apres Surf VIP After party. Continue the fun at the SBSFF Block Party on June 8th just down the street from the Lobero with live music, a Zen Zone, vendors, food, drinks and more! Films screened at SBSFF include shorts, new independent films, documentaries and international films with in-person dialogue with the filmmakers. The festival also includes a Grom Program giving local up and coming surfers a platform to screen their surfing highlights, as well as an Environmental Program. Aligning with our mission to protect the ocean, #SBSFF2024 has partnered with local non-profits Heal the Ocean, Surfrider SB and The Surf Happens Foundation. See you there!
