Open Air Bicycles

Looking for additional bicycling events or resources?

Bike Moves is an exciting, free, monthly social event that takes place on the first Thursday of every month that welcomes the community in a group ride in the Downtown area. Meeting at 7:30 pm at the Plaza de Vera Cruz, located off E. Cota St. between Anacapa and Santa Barbara St., Bike Moves aims to get people on their bikes while having a great time and respecting our community.

Santa Barbara Bicycle Coalition is a county wide resource and advocacy non-profit organization that promotes bicycling for safe transportation and recreation. They work with city administrators, educators, and planners to ensure that Santa Barbara is a safe, accessible, and enjoyable biking city for the whole community.

SB Open Streets offers the community a free, safe and family-friendly recreation and fitness zone: our public roadways! With no motorized traffic for a day, stretching over 2 miles on our ocean-front street, adults and children are encouraged to engage in fitness, art, music, dance, cultural activities, and biking.

CycleMAYnia is a month-long celebration reaching thousands of cyclists and community members throughout the month of May. Events are offered through a collaboration of organizations, agencies, businesses, and community volunteers in Santa Barbara County.
